"I got one of these and that's how I got saved"

After gym, I sat down on the bench in the city while waiting for my friend to knock off from work. I could feel someone is looking at me and trying to walk over to where I was sitting. Feeling a bit scary ,  tried to run away. When I was about to stand up and walked away, suddenly a man walked in front of me and gave me something. It was a tract from his church. Then I took out mine and say we can exchange this. He saw it and said: hey, I know this tract , previously I got one of this and that's how I got saved. Was quite encouraging while I heared that. Sometimes I might even wonder  how this small little tract could let people come to know Christ and got saved. Thank God I didnt run away and through this It's really encouraging to know how amazing God works really  are. We are just a vessel used by God all we have to do is to do our best and God will do the rest.

Isaiah 6:8 - Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here [am] I; send me.

Better bargain than catalogue

Have always wanted to replace a broken cabinet at home and there was a cabinet on special buy on Aldi catalogue for past Saturday. *:-? thinking Thought I should drop by to see if there was still left over stock.

Pray before I go asking the Lord to help me with tracting. Another sister interceded with me.

There was a few chinese people around the shop. So gave out two Mandarin Gospel Rally invites, a Chinese tract and an English tract.

*'@-@ search me Of course I was at a lookout for the expired special buy cabinet too. Nope, none to be seen! HOWEVER, there was one and only one BIGGER cabinet of a different material for sale. The size is just what I wanted and being the last one on the floor, it was further discounted 30%!!! Joy ~ *:) happy God has prepared a better cabinet on a better price for me!

It was too heavy for me to carry into my car. Asked the cashier, Will, to help me to get the two flat packs into the car. And there at the car park, tracted him.

Heart is filled with joy and remembered Psalms 37:5 'Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass'.

Thank God for helping me to tract and also providing me the long wanted suitable cabinet replacement in an unexpected way!

What happens to a tract after you give it to someone?

Thank God for a great encouragement that He is a Sovereign God, that His Word shall not return void unto Him but will accomplish all that He purposes, and that our labour in the Lord is not in vain.
All throughout my privileged opportunity of giving out Gospel tracts, I have not ever heard of what happened to a tract whose recipient I did not see again (occasionally I will meet with people who had previously received tracts, but those who I never saw again are a complete mystery: how did they respond? where did the tract end up? who read the tract?).
Today I heard of what happened to a tract which I gave out yesterday. I can't even remember who received that tract, but the tract ended up being located by another sister-in-Christ.
Someone in church had a student and gave her a THIS WAS YOUR LIFE tract. The little girl read it, but before reading to the end, she lost it at a shopping mall. When she was offered another tract, this little girl said that she had found another one already. Upon further inquiry and asking to see the tract, she found out from the number on the back that this was the very tract that I had given a man in the park yesterday! It turns out that he did not read the tract, being a nominal christian who rarely went to church, but his daughter found it, and read it aloud to her dad in the car.
This has been of great comfort to me. Often we know that our service is unto the Lord, whether He chooses to use our testimony of the Gospel as a savour of life unto life or as a savour of death unto death is entirely up to Him, He has a purpose for His word and it will not return unto Him void, but sometimes we can feel discouraged and wonder if God will ever use these tracts which we give to people who we know may never read them. Once the tracts leave our hands, we don't really know what happens to them and we may think that they will end up as wastepaper, but we have not seen behind the scenes, God can work in mysterious ways His wonders to perform, He is the true and Living God: His arm is not shortened.

iPad down, Eyes up for Souls

Mabu. I usually use my iPad on the bus, but this time I didn't. Around halfway to uni, an African lady leaned over and asked me how to get to ECU. I told her that I was going there and said I could take to ECU and to the building if she wanted. She was very thankful and I managed to get to know her a little bit on the walk to her building (which was at the south end of campus). She had fled South Africa and arrived in Perth in May and was picking up her English test results at ECU. Before she left, I handed her a tract and openly told her that I was a Christian. She was so happy, took the tract, and said that she was a Christian too. I asked her if she had a church to worship at and she said she worshipped at Cornerstone (a Charismatic church) since she lived in Joondalup.

Thank God for the opportunity. Sometimes I think it is a good thing not to be glued to your phone or electronic device - people are usually more likely to interact with you. :)

How You React Depends Whether Tract is in Hand

Tract in hand I went out to do some grocery shopping. A gangster looking Asian guy said hello to me at shopping centre. I reacted out of instinct and avoided him. But immediately God convicted my heart about this man that he may not know Christ and I am walking away without dispensing the gospel message. A quick prayer in heart I turned back and called out to the man that I have something for him. Actually he turned out really polite and open to receive gospel tract. Reminds me that the gospel of Christ is for every sinner, not just for the well dressed. Thank God for courage to speak to this man and for teaching me a lesson tonight.- @ 7:55pm in South Lake last night

Rejected but Acquainted

This morning I got into the train and sat besides a young looking gal. Holding tract #163607 waiting for her to open her eyes from her nap.

*:-w waiting It seemed like forever and another lady on my left caught my attention. I have seen her many times catching the same train to work. Target changed! And I was REJECTED!

Still holding the rejected tract #163607 waiting for the young gal to wake up. Two more stops to my train stop and YES ... seemingly in a half-awaked mode, she took my tract. I immediately asked her if she understand Chinese. She nodded and handed her a Mandarin Gospel Rally invite. She took with a smile after I told her that it is a church event, feel free to bring her friends and transport can be arranged. She flipped the tract a bit, tucked into her bag and went back to nap *I-) sleepy.

Story didn't end there ...

Get off the train with the lady who rejected my tract previously. She approached me asking which church do I go to. *:-)/\:-) high five We are ACQUAINTED! Got her name, exchange work places and church details.

Thank God! *:) happy

'3 for $2' Cue

"Can I mix and match three kinds of green vegetable which are labeled for 3 for $2?" A lady asked me in Mandarin when I was rushing to grab my weekly grocery within the 15 minutes before the shop closed.

It was then I was made awared that there were many people in the shop speaking in Mandarin. Thanking God that I have aimlessly tucked some tracts and Mandarin Gospel Rally invites in my sling bag as I rushed out of the house.

Given out 2 Mandarin tracts, 4 Mandarin Gospel Invites and tract #163605 to three China families there + the cashier!

May the Lord moves some to come to Mandarin Gospel Rally. Please pray with me.
